Arrow Dynamics was a roller coaster design company based in Clearfield, Utah. In 2002, it went into bankruptcy and was acquired by S&S Power, another theme park ride designer. They constructed the world's first tubular steel track roller coaster, the Matterhorn Bobsleds at Disneyland. Not long before going bankrupt, they also constructed X, the first 4th-dimension roller coaster in the world, located at Six Flags Magic Mountain. It was one of the last roller coasters ever built by them. The Philadelphia Toboggan Company is the oldest existing roller coaster manufacturing company in the world. Based in Hatfield, Pennsylvania, it was established in 1904 by Henry Auchey and Chester Albright, making various amusement devices, including carousels, wooden roller coasters, and their trains. The company's carousels were preferred among discriminating clients, for their elaborate carvings and elegant decorations. Among their lead carvers were Daniel Carl Muller, Leo Zoller, John Zalar and, most importantly, Frank Caretta.
