Hero is extremely dumb, prone to making bad jokes (whereas he says the same of the Qur'an in Dirty Pranking Number 2), once tearing out Xandir's intestines because he thought Xandir was someone else, and dressing up as a girl to go to a keg party, which resulted in Hero being gang raped. (This later made headlines, which announced "Best Kegger Ever".) He usually learns a moral at the conclusion of any story, although the moral he always learns is extremely minor in comparison to the one he should be learning. For example, in Ghostesses in the Slot Machine, instead of realizing that he shouldn't endanger the world for the sake of personal gain, all he takes away from the experience is that Indians should not be allowed to have casinos. ...more on Wikipedia about "Characters on Drawn Together"

The word doodle first appeared in the early seventeenth century to mean a fool or simpleton, and is thought to derive from the Low German "dudeltopf", meaning "fool" or "simpleton". This in turn resulted in the early eighteenth century verb "to doodle", meaning "to swindle or to make a fool of". The most common modern meaning, an aimless drawing while a person's attention is otherwise occupied, emerged in the 1930s either from this meaning or from the verb "to dawdle", which since the seventeenth century has had the meaning of wasting time or being lazy. ...more on Wikipedia about "Doodle"
Droopy Dog was a low-key animated movie character created by Tex Avery at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer in 1943—essentially the polar opposite of his other famous character, loud, whacky Screwy Squirrel. Originally known as Happy Hound until 1949, his mournful Basset Hound spoke in a jowly monotone and, though he didn't look like much, was shrewd enough to outwit his enemies—the conniving Butch the Irish bulldog and the thieving, nasty wolf (not the Jubalio wolf, although Droopy and several of his lookalike relatives faced him too, in Three Little Pups and Blackboard Jumble). Avery had used this same gag in 1941 on his Tortoise Beats Hare short for Warner Bros. In fact, this film shows that early ideas about Droopy's personality were already germinating, as that film's Cecil Turtle is very similar in character to Droopy. ...more on Wikipedia about "Droopy Dog"
