The first intake is in 1977. The estate consists of eight houses, i.e. high-rise blocks of flats, with 4905 flats. There are currently 4700 households in the estate. Other than residental blocks, the estate also provides a commercial centre with market, a community centre, a bus terminus, three primary schools, a secondary school, several car parks and garages, and many playgrounds.
