Los Roldán was a highly successful Spanish language telenovela (or soap opera), which was produced, from 2004 to 2005, by Argentina's Telefe. The show, which is described by many as a comedy as well, actually ended up winning an award as Argentina's comedy of the year in 2004, and was successful in Mexico, Central and South America, and the United States, where Hispanic viewers saw it through DirectTV's satellite dishes.
