The national flag of the Republic of Chad is a vertical tricolor consisting (left to right) of a blue, a yellow and a red field. Note that almost exactly the same flag is also used as the national colors of Romania in eastern Europe; the one difference being that Romania's flag features a lighter shade of blue.
