Anzac Cove (in Turkish Anzak Koyu) is a small, unremarkable cove on the Gallipoli peninsula in Turkey made famous as the site of the First World War landing of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) on April 25 1915. The cove is a mere 600 m long, bounded by the headlands of Ari Burnu to the north and Little Ari Burnu, known as Hell Spit, to the south. Church Ope Cove is a small secluded beach on the sheltered east side of the Isle of Portland in Dorset, England. The beach has many unusual features for the Isle of Portland. To access the beach there is a path which runs through a wood - a very rare thing to see on the windy isle - and then cuts across a pirate's graveyard and the remains of Rufus Castle, down stone steps and into the cove. Weehawken Cove (also known as North Hoboken Harbor, Hoboken Cove and Hoboken's Inner Harbor), is a small body of water in New Jersey that extends westward from the Hudson River. The harbor/cove is north of Hoboken and south of Weehawken. The cove was first discovered by Henny Hudson, who anchored his ship in the cove on October 2, 1609. Most the Harbor is within Hoboken boundaries, but there is a small section that is in Weehawken. A pair of apartment complexes have been built along the harbor/cove in the last decade. On the Hoboken side of the harbor/cove is the Hoboken Tea Building Walkway, which goes alongside the water and offers the best public Hoboken views of the harbor/cove.
