D.H. Peligro (b. 1960, Saint Louis, Missouri, real name Darren Henley) was the drummer for the classic punk band Dead Kennedys from February 1981 until their breakup in December 1986. He reunited with the DKs in 2001 during their reformation without former frontman Biafra. He drums on the albums Plastic Surgery Disasters, Frankenchrist, and Bedtime for Democracy. The name Peligro means "Danger" in Spanish. His drumming can also be heard on the EP In God We Trust, Inc. and the singles/rarities collection, Give Me Convenience or Give Me Death. He has also drummed with Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nailbomb, Feederz and SSI. In the wake of the band's disbandment, he has become a solo musician and spoken word artist. In his political life, he is an active member of the Green Party and has participated in activism relating to his progressive political beliefs. He is a self-proclaimed anarchist (though not a promoter of anarchy), and advocates civil disobedience and pranksterism in the name of political change. The Lost Tapes is VHS/ DVD of the Dead Kennedys' first recording session of their EP, In God We Trust Inc.. It was released in July 2003. The session was filmed in June 1981 by Eric Goodfield for a part of a punk documentary he was making. When the DKs went to master the tape it started to peel and deteriorate, so they had to record it again (that session took place in August and was used for the EP). The tape was in Goodfield's collection until the DKs asked him if he would released as part of their 25th anniversary.
