European politics The Arab European League or AEL is a small organisation founded by Dyab Abou Jahjah, a Lebanese-born Shi'a Muslim living in Belgium. The AEL attracted mostly second-generation Moroccans in Antwerp (Belgium), and a few in the Netherlands.
