Lurleen Lumpkin is a fictional character from The Simpsons. She first appeared in the " Colonel Homer" episode. She is a barmaid (voiced by Beverly D'Angelo) who works at the Beer'N'Brawl and wants to be a country musician. She is discovered by Homer Simpson who is drinking at the bar. He loves the song she sings and decides he wants to help her pursue her music career. However Lurleen took a shine to Homer and tried to tempt to have an affair with her. Homer seemed oblivious to this, but Marge was highly suspicous of the whole thing which resulted in arguments between her and Homer. However he and his band were spared due to their placement in the lower levels. During the fight he and his band jumped out the windows of the barge right before the fiery explosion. Despite relatively little screen time in the original Star Wars, Return of the Jedi, and only slightly more in the "Special Edition," Rebo is something of a fan-favorite. The Max Rebo Band was a pop music band in the Star Wars universe. They consisted of Ortolan Max Rebo on keyboard, Kitonak Droopy McCool, and two singers: Yuzzum Joh Yowza and Pa'lowick Sy Snootles.
