Paisa (pl. Paisas) A person from the “Paisa region” in Colombia, South America. The region is formed by the Colombian departamentos of Antioquia, Caldas, Risaralda and Quindío. The main economical activities are coffee, cattle rising, flowers and gold’s mines. The main cities are Medellín, Pereira, Manizales, Armenia, Envigado, Rionegro and Caucasia. Paisas have their own cultural identities linked to the most mountainous region of South America.
