The Gaillard Cut, or Culebra Cut, is a man-made valley cutting through the continental divide in Panama. The cut forms part of the Panama Canal, linking Lake GatĂșn, and thereby the Atlantic Ocean, to the Gulf of Panama and the Pacific Ocean.
