Ghost towns in Canada

Anyox was a small company-owned mining town in British Columbia, Canada. Today it is largely destroyed and abandoned. It is located about 60 kilometers (37 miles)southwest of Stewart, British Columbia on the shores of Observatory Inlet. Ball's Falls, Ontario, is ghost town that dates back to the early 1800s. John and George Ball were among the soldiers who received land for remaining loyal to Britain during the American Revolutionary War. 1200 acres (4.9 km²) of land was awarded to the Ball brothers in October 1807.
