Koryo Hotel is the second largest hotel in North Korea. The Ryugyong Hotel (or Ryu-Gyong Hotel) is a towering, empty concrete shell in Sojang-dong, in the Potong-gang District of Pyongyang, North Korea. The hotel's name comes from one of the historic names for Pyongyang: Ryugyong, or "capital of willows". Its 105 stories rise some 330 m (1,083 ft), and it boasts some 360,000 m² (3.9 million ft²) of floor space, making it the most prominent feature of the city's skyline and by far the largest structure in that country. If the building were ever completed it would be the world's tallest building intended for hotel use, and the seventh largest building in the world . Yanggakdo Hotel is one of the largest and most luxurious hotels in North Korea. It is located on Yanggakdo Island, in Pyongyang, the capital of the country. It is 47 stories tall and boasts a revolving restaurant at the top. Geographical coordinates are It was built in the 1980s by a French company and opened in 1995. It is 4 km southeast of the city center. A nine-hole golf course, driving range, and casino are located on the grounds.
