Good Morning Britain was TV-am's flagship breakfast television show, which broadcast from 7am until 9am five days per week between 1983 and 1992. It had many different presenters, but eventually settled in 1990 with Sports reporter Mike Morris, and regional reporter Lorraine Kelly. Good Morning Britain became very successful, and had very impressive ratings. Granada Plus was a satellite channel run by Granada Sky Broadcasting. It was launched on 1 October 1996 and was later rebranded as G Plus or G+ and then simply Plus. However it was generally still referred to by the public at large by its former name. It showed classic Granada Television & ITV programmes as well as some programmes originally shown on BBC but made by independent production companies. ITV Digital used to be the sole British terrestrial digital television broadcaster. It was launched as ONdigital in 1998, the world's first digital terrestrial television network. It was subsequently rebranded as ITV Digital in July 2001. Its main shareholders were the UK ITV broadcasters Carlton Communications plc and Granada plc (who have since merged to form ITV plc). A massive re-branding campaign was launched to support the new naming, with customers even being sent ITV Digital stickers to place over the existing ONdigital logos on their remote controls and Set Top Boxes.
