(Opening crawl (Star Wars)) Each of the six Star Wars films begins in a similar fashion, beginning with the familiar STAR WARS logo over a star field and slowly zooms out into the distance, followed by the film's episode number and subtitle (in all-capital letters), followed by a three-paragraph precis of the events just prior to the events of the film. Some words or names are in all caps to stress their importance to the story (ex. DEATH STAR in A New Hope, GALACTIC EMPIRE in Return of the Jedi, and ARMY OF THE REPUBLIC in Attack of the Clones) The text is in simple, yellow, sans-serif type and is pitched at an extremely sharp angle.
