The American Jazz Museum is the premiere jazz museum in the United States. Located in the historic 18th & Vine district in Kansas City, Missouri, it preserves the history of the American Music: Jazz. The Experience Music Project (EMP) is a museum of music history founded by Paul Allen, the co-founder of Microsoft, located on the campus of Seattle, Washington's Seattle Center. It is sited near the Space Needle and is by one of the two stops on the Seattle monorail, which runs through the building. The International Bluegrass Music Museum or IBMM is the official bluegrass music museum located in RiverPark Center near downtown Owensboro, Kentucky. The museum has interactive exhibits, posters, costumes, live instrument demonstrations, and its own summer festival called ROMP (River of Music Party). The museum hosts a bluegrass jam session the first and third Saturday of each month from 6PM until 10PM. IBMM is also the site for the International Bluegrass Music Hall of Honor.
