Brijuni, Brioni or Brioni Islands are a group of twelve small islands in the Northern Adriatic Sea, off the west coast of the Istrian peninsula in Croatia. The Brioni Islands are separated from the Pula on the peninsula by the narrow Fažana Strait ( Italian Canale di Fasana, German Strasse von Fasana). The largest island is Veli Brijun (Brion) at 5.6 km² and lies 2 km off the coast.
