Oil companies Tengizchevroil is a joint venture between ChevronTexaco, (who recently changed the name back to Chevron), ExxonMobil, Lukarco and the Republic of Kazakhstan. The project is developing the Tengiz and Korolev oil fields located in the northeastern reaches of the Caspian Sea. The joint venture was formed in 1993.
