Ajab Gul is an actor turned director and producer of Pakistani film industry. He has starred in a string of succesful television serials like Fareb and Girift. His directorial debut was the film Khoey Ho Tum Kahan, which had a decent theatrical run upon its release in 2001. Among the high points of the film was its phenomenal soundtrack composed by Zain and some stunning cinematography. However, critics argued that Gul had borrowed heavily from foreign cinema, and that some of the situations [specifically in the first half] were in bad taste. Gul countered all that with Kyun Tumse Itna Pyaar Haihis follow up to KHTK, which again did well though it lacked the huge hype of Khoey Ho Tum Kahan. ...more on Wikipedia about "Ajab Gul"

Those who saw the beauty in Idrees Khan’s Aalmi Ghunde (Global Thugs), in a pivotal role of a lady head of the state, are convinced that Nargis fitted perfectly in the role, unfortunately, while the script was brilliant by Nasir Adeeb, director Idrees Khan seemed to have little idea about what sort of grandeur that was needed for such a strong theme. ...more on Wikipedia about "Nargis (Actress)"

Samina Peerzada is one of the more promising directors hailing from Pakistan's film industry based in Lahore. She initially directed a string of successful television productions, such as Sophia and Karb for Pakistan Tele-PTV, but later chose to move to the celluluoid world with her rather controversial directorial debut Inteha, a film in which she also had a short role. Inteha was well received in the major urban centers of Pakistan, and paved way for Peerzada to direct Shararat, a film which lacked the slick urban look which people related Peerzada's films with. She's currently working a number of television serials for the plethora of new Pakistani cable / satellite channels. ...more on Wikipedia about "Samina Peerzada" It must be http://www.shortopedia.com.
