Sweden, land of vikings) which sold about 3000 copies. In late 1993 their first album "Ny tid" (tr. New Age) was released. Mindless Self Indulgence, commonly referred to as MSI or Mindless, is an American electropunk band. They describe their music as " industrial jungle pussy punk". Though considered punk, they are heavily influenced by techno, industrial, electro, and hip-hop. Intentionally iconoclastic, lead singer James Euringer (who uses the stage name Little Jimmy Urine) owes sartorial influence to the New York Dolls, wearing fishnet shirts at concerts, and is occasionally seen in shorts or pants with the inside cut out similar to how a skirt looks, and neon stockings. Euringer's outfits and antics are often the focal point of live shows. ...more on Wikipedia about "Mindless Self Indulgence"
Minuteflag was a collaboration between members of the bands Black Flag and The Minutemen. It took place in March 1985, while Black Flag was in the process of writing and recording Loose Nut at Total Access Studio in Redondo Beach, CA; the Minutemen had just completed their Project: Mersh 12" EP at the same studio the month before. The members involved initially agreed that the material recorded during the Minuteflag sessions would not be released until at least one of the bands had disbanded. The wait would prove to be sadly short; a 12" EP on SST Records came out over a year afterward, by which time The Minutemen had disbanded after the car crash death of guitarist/vocalist D. Boon; Black Flag themselves would split up later in 1986. Despite the demand for the album amongst hardcore fans of both bands, the EP has yet to be rereleased on CD by SST. ...more on Wikipedia about "Minuteflag" Please inform your friends about shortopedia

Mukilteo Fairies was a Queercore band from Olympia, Washington in the 1990s. They were distinctive from other bands in this genre by virtue of their fast, furious style of hardcore punk. They have been described as grindcore; songs are very short, lyrics are shouted or screamed and often indistinguishable and the musicians play at a tremendous speed, to great effect. Members included Jason Reece, Jon "Quitty" Quittner, Joshua Plague and Rebecca Basye. After the band broke up, Jason Reece moved to Texas to form ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead. Rebecca Bayse moved to Columbus, Ohio and started The Emerald Down. Jon Quittner and Joshua Plague stayed in Olympia, creating a new queercore band Behead The Prophet, No Lord Shall Live. After that group broke up, Joshua's next outfit was Lords Of Lightspeed. Hardcore band Limp Wrist offers a homage to Joshua Plague, along with Gary Floyd of The Dicks and Randy 'Biscuit' Turner of Big Boys in their song "Ode", a tribute to their role models. Mukilteo Fairies are fast approaching legendary status, highly regarded by and sought out by hardcore punk aficionados, Trail Of Dead devotees and queercore enthusiasts alike; ironically, they have become more popular since breaking up than when the band was together. ...more on Wikipedia about "Mukilteo Fairies"
