It attempted to recreate the fun and feel of an action movie, where one bullet could actually kill someone, but the odds were better if you kept hitting them with more. ARQuake is an Augmented Reality version of the popular Quake game by id Software. Created in the Wearable Computer Lab at the University of South Australia, ARQuake provides a first person shoot-em-up that allows the user to run around in the real world whilst playing a game in the computer generated world. The BFG10K or BFG10000 is an extremely powerful fictional weapon appearing in the first-person shooter computer games Quake II and Quake III Arena (though the Quake II and Quake III versions of the weapon are considerably different) and also in Skulltag. The weapon is named in homage to the BFG9000, a weapon in Doom and Doom II, games which are considered precursors to the Quake series. The Jorg is a battle-mech style sub-boss monster encountered in the final single player level of Quake II. It is the main attack vessel of the Makron, surpreme leader of the Strogg, who is the final boss of the game. The Jorg has roughly 3000 HP, and possesses twin chaingun-cannons in its arms.
