The Market-Frankford Line (MFL) (also called the Market-Frankford Subway-Elevated Line (MFSE), El or Blue Line) is a transit line in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, run by SEPTA. It begins at 69th Street Terminal just west of the city line in Upper Darby and runs on a private right-of-way to the city line. From there it is elevated over Market Street until 46th Street, where it curves off to the north and heads underground, with a portal at 44th Street. The Norristown High Speed Line (NHSL), operated by the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) as Route 100 of the Suburban Transit Division, is an interurban operating between Upper Darby, Pennsylvania's 69th Street Terminal and Norristown, Pennsylvania's Norristown Transportation Center, running entirely on its own right of way, inherited from the Philadelphia and Western Railroad, an interurban streetcar line. The line is unique in its combination of transportation technologies. The Girard Avenue line ( SEPTA route 15) is a heritage streetcar line serving North and West Philadelphia. Tracks run along Girard Avenue and Richmond Street. The Western terminus is at the intersection of 63th Street, and the Eastern terminus is at the intersection with Allegheny Avenue. The line has been reopened as a trolley service in September 2005 after having been served by buses for 13 years. There are five "subway-surface" lines within the SEPTA system. These lines have a center corridor below Market Street, acting like a subway, with stops for all five routes at 13th Street, 15th Street, 19th Street, 22nd Street, 30th Street, and 33rd Street.
