Sexual anatomy An aedeagus (plural aedeagi) is a reproductive organ of male insects through which they secrete sperm from the testes during copulation with a female insect. The sperm contains capsules called spermatophores, which contain the spermatozoa. In addition to the spermatophores, in some insect species the aedeagus also discharges a spermatophylax, which serves as a nutriment to the female. ...more on Wikipedia about "Aedeagus"
(Copora cavernosa) The corpora carvernosa (singular is corpus cavernosum) are two tubular shaped structures located on the dorsal, or back side of the male penis. They lie just underneath of the skin, and consist mostly of vascular (especially venous) structures, along with fibrous supporting tissue. The are essential in achieving an erection of the male penis. This happens through a complex mechanism involving psychologic and physiologic phenomenea resulting in engorgement of these structures with blood, resulting in an increase in length, grith and rigidity of the penis. ...more on Wikipedia about "Copora cavernosa"
Erectile tissue is tissue in the body that can become erect, usually by becoming engorged with blood. Erectile tissue exists in places such as the corpora cavernosa of the penis and in the clitoris. However, the erection of nipples is not due to erectile tissue, but due to the contraction of smooth muscle under the control of the autonomic nervous system. ...more on Wikipedia about "Erectile tissue"
In female human anatomy, the frenulum labiorum pudendi (aka. the fourchette) is a frenulum where the labia minora meet at the back. ...more on Wikipedia about "Frenulum labiorum pudendi"
The fundiform ligament is a specialization, thickening, of the superficial (Scarpa's) fascia extending from the linea alba of the lower abdominal wall. It runs from the level of the pubic bone, laterally around the sides of the penis like a sling, and then unites at the base of the penis before going to the septum of the scrotum. It is just superficial to the suspensory ligament. ...more on Wikipedia about "Fundiform ligament"
Genital Integrity is a name for the principle that all human beings, whether male, female or intersexed, have the right to bodily integrity. Those who agree oppose involuntary and medically unnecessary genital modification and mutilation, including male or female mutilation, or sexual reassignment-surgery on intersexual children. They also respect the right of consenting adults to give informed consent to procedures involving their own bodies. ...more on Wikipedia about "Genital integrity"
A hemipenis (plural hemipenes) is one of a pair of reproductive organs of male squamata ( snakes, lizards and amphisbaenia). Hemipenes are usually held inverted, within the body, and are everted for reproduction via erectile tissue like that in the human penis. Only one is used at a time, and some evidence indicates males alternate use between copulations. The hemipenis itself has a variety of shapes, depending upon species. Often the hemipenis bears spines or hooks, in order to anchor the male within the female. Some species even have forked hemipenes (each hemipenis has two tips). Due to being everted and inverted, hemipenes do not have a completely enclosed channel for the conduction of sperm, but rather a seminal groove which seals as the erectile tissue expands. ...more on Wikipedia about "Hemipenis"
Intersex surgery is one of several terms referring to surgery performed to correct birth defects due to intersex conditions or other causes, as well as early injuries of the genitalia. The primary intersex surgery article outlines the purposes of such surgery, the conditions for which it has most often been performed, and the different types of such surgeries over the last 50 years. The history of intersex surgery is intertwined with the development of the specialities of pediatric surgery, pediatric urology, and pediatric endocrinology, with our increasingly refined understanding of sexual differentiation, with the development of political advocacy groups united by a sexual identity, and in the last decade by doubts as to efficacy, and controversy over when and even whether some procedures should be performed. Much erroneous information has been published in the public media, especially the internet. The purpose of this article is to provide a brief, referenced overview of the history of this type of surgery and the surrounding controversies. ...more on Wikipedia about "History of intersex surgery"
The Icelandic Phallological Museum in Húsavík, Iceland (formerly in Reykjavík) is a museum devoted to phallology. The museum currently has 154 specimens displayed like hunting trophies, embalmed in formaldehyde, or dried in display cases. The museum attempts to collect penis specimens from every mammal extant in Iceland, including several species that are endangered or currently extinct in Icelandic waters. ...more on Wikipedia about "Icelandic Phallological Museum"

Love-bites (or hickeys) are a temporary mark or bruise on one's skin resulting from kissing or sucking (not biting) forceful enough to burst blood vessels beneath the skin. They could also be called "love-marks", due to the absence of biting, but this usage is not widespread. Love-bites usually occur during acts of intimacy and take anything from one to five days to fade entirely, depending on the severity of the 'bite'. Various ways have been suggested for making the love-bite go away faster. This may be desirable in cases where one doesn't want other people to know that one has been kissed by another person. Some suggest applying ice right after the mark was made to stop it from getting worse. It is also suggested that one, once the bleeding has stopped, tries to stimulate circulation through various means, for instance by rubbing the area or by exposing it to luke-warm water. These methods have to be applied several times in order to have a visible effect. For some people these methods can completely remove the bites in a short time. One should apply such methods gently so as to not cause irritation of the area. ...more on Wikipedia about "Love-bite"
The phenomenon of male lactation in humans has become more common in recent years due to the use of medications that stimulate a human male's mammary glands. Though human males have nipples, it is not so often understood that they also have mammary glands. Ordinarily the mammary tissue is low in volume and cannot be noticed. Under the appropriate hormonal stimulus -- the hormonal stimulus that nature provides to human females when they become pregnant and give birth -- the mammary glands of human males can also produce milk. The volume of milk produced is low relative to that of a lactating female. ...more on Wikipedia about "Male lactation"
An ovipore is a pore-like sexual organ of a female insect that gets inseminated by the spermatophores ejected by the aedeagus of a male insect during copulation. The spermatophores that pass through the ovipore are stored in most insect species in another organ called spermatheca. ...more on Wikipedia about "Ovipore"
The ovipositor is an organ used by some of the arthropods for oviposition, i.e. the laying of eggs. It consists of a maximum of three pairs of appendages formed to transmit the egg, to prepare a place for it, and to place it properly. In some of the insects the organ is used merely to attach the egg to some surface, but in many parasitic species ( Hymenoptera, for example) it is a piercing organ as well. It is used by the grasshoppers to force a burrow in the earth to receive the eggs and by cicadas to pierce the wood of twigs for a similar purpose. Both long-horned grasshoppers and sawflies cut the tissues of plants by means of the ovipositor. None of these examples is quite as remarkable as the Megarhyssa species of Ichneumon wasp (parasitic Hymenoptera), the females of which have a slender ovipositor several inches long, used to drill into the wood of tree trunks. These species are parasitic in the larval stage on the larvae of wood-boring insects, hence the egg must be deposited in the burrow of the host. ...more on Wikipedia about "Ovipositor"
The pelvic floor or pelvic diaphragm is composed largely of muscle fibers of levator ani and connective tissue. It is important in providing support for pelvic organs, e.g. the bladder, lower intestines, the uterus (in females), and in maintenance of continence as part of the urinary and anal sphincters. ...more on Wikipedia about "Pelvic floor"

The pubococcygeus muscle or PC muscle is an important muscle in the human body. It is a hammock-like muscle, found in both sexes, that stretches from the pubic bone to the coccyx (tail bone) forming the floor of the pelvic cavity and supporting the pelvic organs. It controls urine flow and contracts during orgasm. It surrounds the rectum, the vagina (in women) and bladder openings. It aids in urinary control, and childbirth. ...more on Wikipedia about "Pubococcygeus muscle"

The spermatheca is an organ of the female reproductive tract in insects, some molluscs, and certain other invertebrates. Its purpose is to receive and store sperm from the male, and it is usually the site of fertilization when the oocytes are ready. Some species have multiple spermathecae. They are lined with epithelium and are variable in shape; some are thin, heavily coiled tubes, others are vague outpocketings from the main reproductive tract. ...more on Wikipedia about "Spermatheca"
